CERT Swag is committed to supporting CERT teams and community preparedness efforts. Eligible CERT programs earn 5% back on qualified purchases when their registered team code is used at checkout. Rewards are issued to eligible programs as CERT Swag store gift cards each December.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

To participate, teams must be one of the following:

• A CERT program operated by, funded through, or under the jurisdiction of a U.S. government agency
  (city/town/county/state emergency management, fire department, police department, or similar public safety entity)
  OR
• A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
  OR
• A CERT team with a verified 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor
  

CERT Swag may verify eligibility at any time.

Note: Store credits and gift cards issued under this program are considered a donation from CERT Swag to the qualifying CERT program or sponsoring organization.

✅ Program Rules

• Teams must register to receive a unique team code
• Team codes may take up to 7 days to be generated
• Code must be used at checkout to earn credit
• Orders without a code cannot be credited retroactively
• Rewards apply only to qualified items specified by CERT Swag
• Rewards are issued annually in December as CERT Swag gift cards
• Gift cards have no cash value and are non-refundable
• Rewards must be used for CERT-related gear, uniforms, or supplies
• Codes may not be shared outside the registered team
• Purchases made using CERT Swag donation gift cards will not earn additional reward credit
• Program violations may result in removal from the program
  

✅ Profit Safeguard Clause

To ensure long-term sustainability of this program:

If the standard 5% reward would exceed 40% of the net profit on an item or transaction, the reward percentage may be adjusted proportionally.

This keeps the give-back program viable and allows us to continue supporting CERT programs nationwide.

✅ Program Flexibility

CERT Swag reserves the right to:

• Modify reward percentages
• Adjust eligibility requirements
• Change qualified products
• Pause or discontinue the program

at any time, with or without notice.

Participation in the program constitutes acceptance of current terms.
